Violence is a complex, multisectoral challenge that transcends the sphere of public security. In this context, the health sector plays a central role in addressing this global crisis, since public health systems produce essential data and evidence to guide public policies and intersectoral prevention measures. The studies presented here seek to identify the magnitude of the inequity created by the impact of violence for black people.
